Jason and I got married at your resort on February 8, 2011. The two of us, as well as, our family had such an amazing experience in Costa Rica and at the Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa. You truly made our day beyond anything we could have dreamed of. Not only do we appreciate all that you personally organized, but your staff were amazing and so very friendly.

Some of the staff at your resort really made our stay very memorable. We will not forget all the fun with Lulu, the drinks from Manuel and Elias or the dinner service from Orlando or late night drinks with Oscar.

Jason and I celebrated our 6 month wedding anniversary last week and had a lot to be grateful for. So thank you, Juan Carlos, for making our wedding day the most special day of our lives, to all your staff who made us feel very welcome and inviting us to experience the beauty your country has to offer! Thank you again for everything you did for our wedding. It was so perfect, everything that I imagined. I sincerely appreciate how the wedding coordinator listened to every detail and made everything exactly as I asked. It was a little stressful being married so far from home at a location I have never seen, so thank you for making it so beautiful.

The food was great and the cake  exceeded my expectations. Please thank the chef and wait staff. We were so happy with the honeymoon suite and all of our guest were pleased with their accommodations. It was great place for the entire family. I would absolutely recommend your resort to anyone who is looking to have a destination wedding in Costa Rica. We look forward to planning many anniversary trips to Flamingo.

We had a wonderful trip to Costa Rica. Our wedding was unbelievable, beyond any expectations. Juan Carlos did an amazing job, as did all the resort staff who participated, whether it was those who helped with the set up of the beach ceremony, or the servers, bartenders or photographer we had hired. Juan Marcos and his wife where a pleasure to work with. Not only where they both kind and sweet, both very professional and from what we have seen, our photos are remarkable. I could never thank Juan Carlos for everything he did. Although there was 2 other weddings the week we were married, we truly felt as if we were the only wedding he had ever taken care of.

The treatment of not only Jason and myself; however, the service, respect and actual friendships with those we met at the resort with our family who came with us will stay with us all more than anything. Our whole family who joined our special day have mentioned the same feelings and gratitude. Overall, we all had the trip of a lifetime, whether is be for those who have never traveled, as well as, those who have traveled many times before.

Our wedding day was something we will both treasure forever, as it was truly very special. The memories will be shared not only with those who came with us, but certain staff members who we shared a bond and friendship with, as well as, those other families who had shared their special day at the Flamingo Resort will stay with us always. I met two other brides who got married the week Both woman were a pleasure to meet, and I feel as if it was quite a joy to share that same amazing feeling with someone else, as if we will have a bond for life. Overall, it was an amazing trip, a special day, an unforgettable memory and a part of heart will always be there.  Thank you so much for all of your hard work. We could never thank you enough.

The hotel not only looks terrific, but the entire staff is outstanding... Everyone is friendly, accommodating and knows some English (an added bonus, though I enjoy practicing my Spanish). All the employees work well together. The new activities gal is great...I did water aerobics every morning...and we did Zumba and Latin dancing in the afternoons....The restaurant staff under Chef David is amazing, and he goes out of his way to accommodate guest's requests or dietary needs...The housekeeping staff are always warm and friendly; my room was always cleaned and very comfortable....Flamingo Beach Resort is in my opinion exactly how you would picture Costa Rica: open air lobby, gorgeous pool area surrounded by lush foliage, iguanas roaming, birds flying by and even the occasional raccoons... We were in luck one day to see whales in front of the restaurant! (General Manager) Donovan Garcia has done an exceptional job with the hotel and has a fine staff.

My husband and I visited the Flamingo Beach Resort last week whilst we were on honeymoon. We sincerely would like to thank you for such a memorable stay. We personally would like to thank the barman, Oscar and the Head Chef, whose name I cannot remember, for the lovely meal that they organized especially for us. Service was exceptional by all Front Desk employees and all Food and Beverage employees. Rooms were also very clean and comfortable too.

Flamingo Beach Resort offers its guests so many different activities, that you don't even have to leave the resort, they have an exercise room, gambling, pool tables, shopping stores, swimming in a beautiful pool that has a bar right inside the pool and beach right on the property, and the food buffet is out of this world with a variety of tasty foods and fresh fruits and so much more. We were very Impressed by the way the staff greeted us when we arrived at the resort.  The staff greeted us with fresh non-alcoholic strawberry margaritas.

Hi my name is Susan I have lived here in Costa Rica now for 5 Years and this is the first resort I have stayed at, We had family members come and visit us from the states and we had such a GREAT time  and we would do it again, and again and again, etc........ Once again, We had the greatest time at Flamingo Beach Resort!

I highly recommend this resort to all who come to Costa Rica or who live in Costa Rica - This resort is a "10"  in our book!

Our wedding was beyond fabulous and exceeded our expectations! The resort is gorgeous, and the staff was amazing! Chef David and Juan Carlos did an unbelievable job and can't praise them enough! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect! I just can't brag enough about the staff. The bartenders were amazing. We had quite a few drinkers in our group and we kept them running the whole week. Pablo at the excursion desk was just awesome and took wonderful care of us in coordinating all of our activities! I honestly can't say one negative thing. It was PERFECT! We are already planning to come back! Thank you so much for everything you did to make our day soooo special! I can honestly say I had a dream wedding! All of our friends and family were beyond happy and didn't want to leave! We all had the best week!!

We had an amazing time. Chef David Smith cooked a special meal for us that was absolutely fabulous. William our waiter was outstanding as well.

The resort and Flamingo beach was amazing, but it was your outstanding staff from the Front Desk (Jerry) to the Bell Desk to the waiters, the Chefs and Oscar the bartender.

We definitely plan on coming back on our next trip to Costa Rica.

Our wedding at Flamingo was more perfect than I could have ever imagined! It was so wonderful and everyone who was there had such a great time. Our families loved every minute of it. So much of that is due to the wonderful people at Flamingo. Juan Carlos did an awesome, awesome job with everything and there were a few other staff members in particular that helped us out a ton. Jerry at the front desk was wonderful at talking to all the members of my family and giving great directions, recommendations, etc to everyone who had questions for him. He was so helpful!

At the Sunset Lounge, Oscar helped attend to our wedding guests at the reception and I think my mother-in-law got a crush on him! He really helped us all to have a great time and kept us relaxed, and kept the party going.

Chef David prepared the most delicious meals for us, both the night of the reception and the following night of our private dinner. His recommendations were perfectly on point and everyone loved all of the food. Both he and Juan Carlos took care of everything so wonderfully, I was able to just relax and enjoy my wedding. It really was a perfect and magical time.

Recién hemos llegado de Costa Rica y aprovechamos para contarle que hemos pasado unos dias maravillosos en dicho pais y en especial en Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa, donde el 24 de abril tuvo lugar nuestra boda civil.   Fue realmente Linda y emotiva. Resta solamente que en unos meses Einar Villavicencio & Asoc., nos envíen Los documentos finales.  La atención en Flamingo Beach Resort fue muy Buena desde todo punto de vista.

Queremos agradecer especialmente el profesionalismo y disposición del chef David, así como la amable y correcta atención de William, quienes hicieron del momento de la cena, un momento inolvidable.  Mención aparte y con nuestro mayor reconocimiento y agradecimiento para el coordinador de bodas, Juan Carlos Rojas , quien nos acompaño y apoyó en la organización de nuestra boda, mostrando en todo momento la más amplia disposición, interés y Buena voluntad para que todo saliera lo mejor posible. A través de su trato cálido y amable nos hizo sentir muy cómodos para disfrutar a pleno todo lo que ofrece Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa.

We spent two days with Victor (Vic Tours) fishing in the ocean and on the river.  He gave a personal touch to the four of us, giving a lot of information and background about Costa Rica and showed us some local things to do, along with catching lots of fish!  We would recommend your hotel to anyone interested in fishing and local attractions. The stay from beginning to end was amazing, and the food in the Arenas restaurant was wonderful. We had the breakfast package and it offered a nice assortment.   We would go back to your hotel and Costa Rica in a second. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

The hotel and the complex were beautiful, the room was
great and the service was just over the top.  We were treated like royalty!  Everyone from the waiters to the front desk made us feel like family.  The food was exceptional - we are both very picky eaters and never had a problem finding something at every meal.  Had a chance to really explore the coast, had a some great hikes, saw some great little towns and amazing sunsets. It was a really a trip we will never forget!

Our family (18 in all) finished 7 days at the Flamingo Beach on New Years morning. We had a wonderful time.

Your establishment is made for relaxation; the staff is among the most Hospitable in the world (and we've all been around more than a Little).  The beach is perfect, the food just right (thank you Chef David!), the service outstanding.  New Years fireworks were a bit much For me; but all the kids loved 'em.

Thank you for all you did to make this a truly delightful 7 days of Fun in the Costa Rican sun!

My fiancé and I stayed with you during the week on October 14 though October 21 in Room 233. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly bellman, who had the biggest smile I had ever seen. He greeted us like we were old friends. The Front Desk personnel were very nice, and their willingness to make sure we had everything we needed was exceptional. Our room was also very nice, with well appointed decor, and comfortable beds. I had no trouble sleeping.

We met with the tour guide, who arranged two tours for us: the first to the Volcano, and the second to the Canopy. Both tours were awesome! The tour guide was very nice and told us many things about Costa Rica and its history. We enjoyed him very much. The restaurants were fantastic. The food was wonderful and very tasty.
We always looked forward to having our breakfast because the Waiter's and Waitress's were so eager to take care of our needs, always friendly… I never saw one frown the entire time we were there. Such a nice way to start the day!

The Main Restaurant was just right- not too elegant, but a step above the average hotel restaurant. I enjoyed the Chicken and Rice dish the most. Karen liked the Soups and Caesar Salads.

We met so many Staff members, all of which were just great. I can't begin to try to name them all, but one person in particular stood out. Allan, at the Front Desk, always asked us how we were, if everything was ok, did we need anything, etc and took extra time to find a phone number for me to the uniform shop that furnishes your uniform shirts. (I thought they were very attractive and wanted to buy one for myself). The point is, he didn't have to go that extra step, and take that extra time, but he did. I appreciate that immensely. I hope I can make contact with the Uniform company to get that shirt!

My only disappointment was not because of the Resort, but because of my error. I lost my camera on one of the Tour buses when we went to the Volcano. I contacted the tour guide and he checked for me, but to no avail. It was not located. I had taken 186 pictures of Costa Rica that I'll never be able to replace. But, at least I'll have the memories forever.

Friday, we went on a River Tour (through Williams Tours), and that was truly an adventure; we saw Toucan, Macaw, many other birds, crocodiles (we got right up on them…WOW!), and the white faced monkeys. That was a real treat.

Saturday came... and we became very sad. We hated to leave! The people made our stay so enjoyable. I have been all over the world, and have not felt so welcomed as I was at your Resort and in Costa Rica. In closing, I would like to thank you for being our wonderful host; providing us with a great place to stay, wonderful food, and outstanding staff members. I will never forget this vacation.

We have started to make plans to return...hopefully soon, but at least next September/October.

I would be proud to tell all my friends and associates to stay with you, whenever they come to Costa Rica. It has been an absolute pleasure, an adventure to remember.

Everything was absolutely AMAZING. The whole experience was like a dream! While all of your staff was very friendly, professional, helpful, a few members of the hotel staff really stood out as going above and beyond the usual expectations and made our stay at the resort truly unforgettable. Manuel, at the front desk, greeted us with a smile, cool towel & pina colada when we arrived that was wonderful. After the four-hour van ride from the airport (which, thank you very much for providing a car seat!), those luxuries could not have been more appreciated. Throughout our stay, Manuel was always smiling, friendly, and fun to be around. Oscar was a first-rate bartender (one of the best I've ever encountered) and even created a special drink for my sister-in-law's wedding that was perfectly suited for the occasion: colorful presentation, delicious flavor, and regional ingredients. After I told him about the best drink I ever had (at the legendary Blue Note Club in New York City), he went downstairs to the kitchen to get the ingredients and proceeded to make his own version. It was even better than the one in New York! And he just created it right there on the spot. He is truly a gifted and talented bartender. He was also really great with our son Mizael, and nicknamed him"El Galan," which he loved.

I'm from San Antonio, Texas (USA) and our main industry in San Antonio is tourism. Judging from the 8 days that we stayed at the resort, we would be blessed to have such wonderful people employed in the resorts here. The service we received and experience we had at Flamingo Beach exceeds the service I've received at the Grand Hyatt, Hilton, and other hotels/resorts combined. My sister-in-law was treated to such an amazing wedding experience, the kind I've only seen in movies. It was obvious that the hotel staff were very familiar and professional at planning at providing one-of-a-kind, first-rate weddings. My sister-in-law wanted to have her wedding at Flamingo Beach Resort because a friend of hers had her wedding there and recommended it because of the wonderful experience she had at her wedding. So clearly, the exceptional service we received was not unusual, but rather part of the atmosphere of excellence found throughout the hotel.

As you can tell the staff of the Flamingo Beach Resort really made a lasting impression upon my family, and if the same staff are there in the future, we would love to return. We were sad to leave not only the beautiful country of Costa Rica, but also our newfound friends. We are eternally grateful to them for making our first (but hopefully not last!) trip to Costa Rica an unforgettable experience.
