SERENITY SPA: FAQs
1. What kind of services do you offer?
Serenity Spa offers a wide range of services from massage and facials, to organic scrubs, scrubs, herbal and mud wraps, spa packages and master therapies.
2. How many therapists do you have?
Depending on the size of the group, additional trained therapists can be brought in from other Serenity Spa locations in Costa Rica. In case of large groups, in-room services may be made available.
3. How many appointments could be taken in one day?
With advance notification of a group booking, up to 60 appointments could be taken in a day.
In order to accommodate large groups, all appointment times, names, and treatments requested, should be submitted with the group contract no later then 15 days before the group arrival date.
Please note that additional treatments can be done as an In-Room Service.
4. What is your cancellation policy?
For individual appointments all changes and cancellations must be received with a 4–hour notice to avoid a 50% charge. All no shows will be charged 100% of the appointment reserved. For group appointments, all changes and cancellations must be done with a 4–day notice. All last minute cancellations will be charged 100%.
5. Do you have male and female therapists?
Yes, we have both therapists on staff. You may state your preference at the time of booking, however, we cannot guarantee availability. It is often a delicate matter due to the personal type of service, but our therapists are extremely well trained and undergo a complete day of training on just draping the client. At no time will the client be without a proper towel or sheet draping.
6. Is Tipping Customary?
Yes, generally people will leave anywhere from 15% to 20% of the value of the service. If Spa appointments are part of an included activity with your company paying for the appointments, we suggest that 15+% be added to the price for the tips.
