Playa Vida Water Sports Center,  at the Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa  offers guests  the option of an exciting water adventure or just relaxation on beautiful Flamingo beach. We're here to ensure you experience "La Playa Vida". (The Beach Life)

We offer everything you need to enhance your beach experience! From beach chairs-- which are complimentary to guests of the resort--to umbrella rentals,  boogie boards, paddle boards, kayaks, Banana Boat rides and exhilarating tours on high performance Yamaha Wave Runners. Nothing compares to a high speed thrill ride along the rugged coastline, and through the beautiful waters of Playa Flamingo. Beautiful beaches, emerald water, and stunning scenery are only the beginning! Turtles, whales and dolphins frequent the local waters and are often spotted on our jet ski tours.

We also rent bicycles and offer ATV Tours so you can explore the beautiful area around the Flamingo Beach Resort on land as well as by sea!

WAVE RUNNERS:

For the adventure seekers - Join our experienced staff as we escort you throughout the majestic waters of the Golden Coast on our exhilarating wave runners. Observe the natural beauty of the rugged mountain coastline mixed with the sandy beaches of Guanacaste. Meanwhile keep your eyes open-nautical life is all around. Dolphins, Sting Ray, Sea Turtles even Whales have been spotted on this Costa Rican adventure!

1 HOUR TOUR $99, 1-1/2 HOUR TOUR $140, 2 HOUR TOUR $170

BODY/SKIM BOARD:

Fun for all ages- Enjoy the thrill of the rolling waves here in Flamingo Beach. You can sit and watch the kids have all of the fun or you can rediscover your youthful self and take a Body Board out and catch a few waves or glide across the surf with a speedy Skim Board. Be careful, some of those pictures can make it back to the office.

$6 for an hour or $14 all day.

PADDLE BOARDS:

A great way to get out on the water for some fun and exercise!

$15 for an hour, $30 for 3 hours, or $60 all day.

BEACH CHAIRS AND UMBRELLAS:

Playa Vida Water Sports is our provider for beach umbrellas for your ocean side shade and relaxation.

BEACH CHAIRS ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST TO ALL FLAMINGO BEACH RESORT GUESTS!

Umbrellas are $14/day for non-guests and discounted to $9/day for Flamingo Beach Resort guests.

KAYAK RENTAL :

single: $30 for 2 hours, $60 for 4 hours

double: $40 for 2hours, $60 for 4 hours

SNORKELING:

Snorkeling equipment rental $20 a day

BANANA BOAT RIDES:

$15 per person (20 minutes)

BANANA BOAT SNORKEL TOUR:

$140 for 2 hours (up to 6 people)

ATV RENTALS:

2 hour guided tour

single $75, double $85

CANOPY COMBO ATV TOUR (4 hours):

single $120

double $160

BICYCLE RENTALS:

Mountain bikes and beach cruiser bicycles are available to rent.  $25 for 24 hours.  Their is no age restriction for renting a bicycle as long as you can ride it!
